I work with creative gifted students and adults who want to accelerate their studies. My gifted youth program teaches students many subjects. In elementary math fundamentals we cover patterns and algorithms alongside fundamental studies. In algebra we use video games to build understanding and practical work to build confidence in the basics of abstract math. Geometry is used to understand proof work and to gain a better understanding of algebra skills through real world examples. Depending ...

Mike is the best. I commonly refer to him as a "Tech God." The man knows his stuff. He got all my electronic equipment to stop bickering with one another. Now they not only recognize each other but work very well together. Now there's peace in the valley and I get all my computer work done in a fraction of the time. The stuff I needed done was beyond my pay grade. For Mike it was child's play.

I was amazed at his ability to hone in on the interests and skills of my child. This is not your average "tutor"-- especially if you have a gifted child who gets frustrated with the pace and lack of depth of projects, Michael is your guy.

Michael helped me quickly learn how to implement a subsequent search algorithm, along with a binary search algorithm, in Java programming, using Eclipse.

Michael and I finished my heap assignment and I began to anticipate what code needed to be written with his help. I'm not all the way there yet, but I can already make connections where before I saw none. I see the meaning in lines of code as we work, where before it may as well have been gibberish.

I was taking a graduate level data course and little to none experience with this type of data programming. He created a lesson prior to meeting up with me and broke down each step. He was a great teacher because he let me try things on my own and learn from my mistakes, rather than telling me I should try a different approach. Michael is very passionate about helping students learn, and I would 100% recommend him.
